Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to TejasGo.com and the TejasGo marketplace. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Marketplace role

TejasGo provides technology that helps customers and independent lawn care providers find one another, exchange job information, document work, and manage service requests. TejasGo is not the employer of providers, crews, or gig workers and does not itself perform lawn care unless expressly stated.

2. Launch-stage service

TejasGo is in a provider-onboarding and controlled-launch stage. Job matching, payment processing, tipping, automated payouts, identity screening, and background checks may be unavailable until the applicable feature is clearly marked active. No screen or status should be treated as proof that money moved or a background check was completed unless TejasGo expressly confirms it.

3. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate information, use your own account, protect your password, and promptly notify support@tejasgo.com of suspected unauthorized access. You may not impersonate another person, attempt to access another account, scrape private information, probe the service, or interfere with security controls.

4. Customer responsibilities

Customers must provide an accurate service address, disclose known property hazards and access restrictions, secure pets, identify sprinkler heads or fragile property when reasonably possible, and communicate job requirements truthfully. Customers remain responsible for deciding whether a provider is appropriate for their property.

5. Provider responsibilities

Providers must accurately describe their identity, business, skills, service area, crews, insurance, and qualifications; comply with applicable licensing, tax, employment, safety, and insurance requirements; use only authorized workers; respect customer property; and complete accepted work professionally. Providers may not display a TejasGo verification badge unless the platform shows that status.

6. Fees, payments, tips, and payouts

Provider registration is currently free. The planned TejasGo platform fee is $7 after a paid, completed job. Charges, tips, refunds, and provider payouts are not operational until an approved payment processor is activated and the checkout screen clearly confirms a transaction. Fee changes will be disclosed before they apply.

7. Photos, reviews, and submitted content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant TejasGo a limited license to store, display, and use it to operate, secure, document, and improve the marketplace. Photos and reviews must relate to a genuine service interaction and may not include unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or unnecessarily sensitive information.

8. Verification and background screening

TejasGo may require identity, insurance, and background screening before a provider can accept work. Screening is not currently active. TejasGo will not request government identity documents through ordinary email. When screening opens, separate disclosures, authorization, dispute rights, and the screening provider’s notices will be presented before collection.

9. Suspension and termination

TejasGo may restrict or close an account to protect users, investigate suspected fraud, comply with law, address repeated cancellations or unsafe conduct, or enforce these Terms. Users may request account closure through support@tejasgo.com.

10. Disclaimers and responsibility

The service is provided on an “as available” basis during launch. To the extent allowed by law, TejasGo does not guarantee provider availability, job quality, uninterrupted access, or that every user-submitted statement is accurate. Nothing in these Terms waives rights that cannot legally be waived.

11. Disputes and Texas law

Before filing a claim, please email support@tejasgo.com with enough detail for TejasGo to investigate. These Terms are governed by Texas law, without overriding any mandatory consumer protection that applies to you. Venue for disputes that may lawfully be assigned will be in McLennan County, Texas.

12. Changes and contact

TejasGo may update these Terms as the marketplace develops. Material changes will be posted with a revised effective date. Questions may be sent to support@tejasgo.com.

These launch terms are an operational baseline and should be reviewed by Texas counsel before paid marketplace transactions begin.
