Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how TejasGo collects and uses information when people visit TejasGo.com, create accounts, build provider profiles, or use marketplace features.

Information we collect

We may collect account and contact information; service and business addresses; provider profile and crew information; service requests and job history; ratings and reviews; property, face, before-and-after, and insurance images or documents; language and map preferences; support communications; and technical security information such as session identifiers, device/browser details, and IP-based abuse signals.

Information not currently collected

Government ID upload and background-check processing are disabled until a compliant screening provider is active. TejasGo does not currently collect Social Security numbers or payment-card numbers. Do not email government IDs, Social Security numbers, banking credentials, or card information to TejasGo.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, operate provider and customer features, display provider profiles, route service requests, document work, investigate disputes and abuse, communicate about accounts, comply with law, and improve marketplace reliability.

When information is shared

Customer service details are shared only with providers involved in the request or job. Provider public-profile information may be visible to customers. We may share information with hosting, storage, security, communications, mapping, payment, insurance-review, or screening vendors only as needed to provide an active feature; with professional advisers; during a business transaction; or when legally required. TejasGo does not sell personal information for money.

Photos and sensitive documents

Face and work photos may be shown to the customer or provider connected to a job. Insurance documents are restricted to the submitting provider and authorized TejasGo administrators. When identity screening opens, identity documents should be collected by or transferred to the designated screening provider under separate notice and authorization.

Storage, security, and retention

TejasGo uses access controls, encrypted HTTPS connections, restricted server sessions, private file storage, and activity controls designed to reduce unauthorized access. No service can guarantee absolute security. We retain information while an account is active and as reasonably needed for job records, safety, disputes, legal obligations, fraud prevention, and business operations, then delete or de-identify it according to the applicable retention schedule.

Your choices and requests

You may update available account settings and request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information by emailing support@tejasgo.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Certain job, payment, fraud-prevention, or legal records may be retained when permitted or required.

Cookies and sessions

TejasGo uses strictly necessary cookies to keep users securely signed in and local browser storage for non-authoritative display preferences. We do not currently use third-party behavioral advertising cookies.

Children

TejasGo is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly create marketplace accounts for them.

Changes and contact

We may revise this Policy as features and vendors change. Material changes will be posted with a revised effective date. Privacy requests may be sent to support@tejasgo.com.

This launch policy is an operational baseline and should be reviewed by Texas counsel before payment and screening features are activated.
